This video lesson presents the legal and ethical rules designed to safeguard the child's image in the media. Also the lesson addresses some basic issues that define the activity of media and includes recommendations for specialists in child protection for a positive interaction with media.
This lesson is part of the Video-Course "Key Aspects of Child Protection" produced by Terre des hommes Moldova. The course is made of 10 video-lessons (7 available in English) for specialists working in child protection or are in contact with children in their work, but also for the general public, regarding key aspects of child protection, particularly focusing on the protection of children in contact with the justice system. The goal of this educational cycle is to improve existing knowledge and practices, as well as strengthen the skills necessary in child education or in the work with children at risk.
