First UN document providing guidance on how states should ensure sufficient, equitable and effective resource mobilization, budget allocation and spending to realize children’s rights - the General Comment No. 19 on public budgeting for realization of children's rights has its Child Friendly version.

Child-friendly version is developed with aim to support children to influence governments to improve public investemnt in children.
