This case involves a family of ten members, living in an informal Roma settlement in Belgrade. The mother is a victim of domestic violence by an alcoholic husband and there is information that the father is sometimes violent towards his children as well. Eight children attend school irregularly, the youngest child is 6 months old only.

Outreach workers of the Center for Youth Integration learnt that the father is planning to "sell" one of the children (daughter, 13 years old) and that he is preparing an arranged marriage for her.

The Center for Youth Integration sent letters to the Centre for Social Work that is in charge of this family, requesting they take immediate actions, but there is no response despite the great vulnerability of children.
