Continuous migration as well as high numbers of early school leavers bring big challenges for the educational systems in Europe.
The conference will examine how early school leaving and marginalisation of children and young people affected by migration can be prevented and how the integration into school and vocational education systems can succeed. Special focus will be given to the group of unaccompanied minor refugees.
Within the conference, keynote speakers from the Austrian Ministry of Education and the Danube University Krems will present their views on the opportunities and limits of educational integration of young refugees. The language of the conference is both English and German.
This conference is organized within the European project ROBIN-Reinforcing cOmpetences to Build Inclusion through a New learning methodology. This event marks the finalization of the project and launching of the handbook on the inclusive learning methodology developed for educators in Second Chance programmes to support the inclusion of children and young people affected by migration.
Those interested to participate are kindly requested to register here, preferably by October 4th.
For those residing outside Austria, travelling costs can be covered only for a limited number of participants.
