On 18-21 September, Proteknon is hosting the Global Online Conference on Sexual Violence against Children with an evidence-based, equity-lens.
Proteknon is composed of 14 women, who are working on issues related to the protection, care and wellbeing of children, especially in humanitarian contexts.

The conference will be organised around a series of tracks, or thematic areas:

  1. Sexual violence against children with disabilities;
  2. Sexual violence against boy children;
  3. Emerging trends related to sexual violence; and
  4. Justice, financing and child protection system strengthening to respond to sexual violence against children in developing, transition and emergency contexts.
