The School of social work and the Social Protection Chamber, under the auspices of the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, invite you to the First International scientific conference entitled "Social policy in Serbia at the crossroads of the centuries", which will be held from 22nd to 23rd November 2018, in the festive hall of the School of Social Work (Terazije street No. 34, Belgrade, Serbia).

In the time of globalization economic flows and new social movements, accelerated cultural changes, as well as increasingly radical political options, there are certain reexamination of values and identities created with them. All these phenomena create new challenges in societies at the beginning of the 21st century. Their formal and essential overstatement represents the imperative of modern society. Scientific gathering will gather eminent scientists and experts from the field:

• social protection
• special education and rehabilitation
• history
• law
• medicine
• psychology
• philology
• economics and other social-humanistic sciences.

The aim of the meeting is to examine the structure of increasingly dynamic changes through dialogue, and that, through the exchange of knowledge, opinions and experiences the future professional activities are directed and shaped according to contemporary trends and approaches.

Main themes of the conference :

1. Social policy, special education and rehabilitation in Serbia from 1918 to year 2018;
2. Content and dimensions of current social policy, special education and rehabilitation;
3. Needs for a new social policy - modern and innovative technologies in social policy, social education and rehabilitation.

The price of the fee after September 1st is 7,000.00 and on the day of the conference will be 12,000.00 dinars and it It includes attendance at lectures, a book of abstracts and a collection of works, a certificate and accompanying material.
