ChildHub - in association with Defence for Children International and Terre des hommes Kosovo - is organizing a Regional Conference “Sharing the Realities of Multi-Disciplinary Team Working”, that is going to take place on 9-10 of November 2015 in Pristina, Kosovo.

The conference will bring together a group of child protection / child welfare professionals and academics working in various countries such as Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Moldova, to explore multi-disciplinary working within the context of child protection.

The Conference deliberations will be on the following themes:
- Experiences from each country in terms of the establishment and functioning of multi-disciplinary working;
- Models of good practice;
- Lessons learnt in supporting multi-disciplinary team working;
- Capacity building activities and promising practices.

The conference will be a mixture of expert inputs, and then discussions on thematic issues. Each of the individual sessions will be expected to report back to the overall conference on the key findings / discussion points so as to maximise exchange and involvement of all participants.

 

The conference is being supported by the Dutch Government's MATRA program, as well as the Austrian Development Agency, the European Union and Oak Foundation.
