The Agency for Mobility and EU Programmes will within the project „Youth for Human Rights“ in October of 2018 organise two regional trainings for educators in the field of human rights.

The training is intended to all persons who have experience in formal or informal work with youth, while already conducting or are planning to conduct educational workshops with youth on theme of human rights (teachers, students, representatives of NGOs, persons who work with youth or for the youth, volunteers...)

The primal goal of this training is to empower persons that are actively working with youth for carrying out the educational activities with youth in the field of human rights. Following, this training for beginners in the field od human rights will enable the advancement of primal competence (knowledge, skills, attitudes) of participants needed for execution of educations about human rights. During the training participants will be introduced to the basic theories connected to the human rights; they will reflect their own experiences and attitudes towards human rights, deliberate values, principles and methods used within human rights education and they will also get a chance to create different ways in which the given knowledge can integrate in organisations they work in. Training is based on principles of informal education; in which are theoretical and experiential segments interwined and active involvement of all participants is required also. Every participant will get handbooks Kompas and Bookmarks, as well as information about possibilities of financing educational activities on theme of human rights within program Erasmus+.

The expenses of public transportation, accommodation and food during the education will be financed from the funds of the project.

Applications are received through the form http://bit.do/mladiljudskaprava until 24th of September 2018. The same training will be held at two different locations and in two appointments: 11-13 of October 2018 in Orahovica and 26-28 of October 2018 in Petrčane; please can you indicate in your application for which appointment are you applying. All the applied participants will be informed of the result of their application until the 1st of October 2018.

For all the participants coming from the formal system of education certificate of participation will also be provided through the EMA system (application for organisation and monitoring of education- Education Management Application: www.e-skole.hr).
