Training for prevention and referral of violence

 

Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of the Republic of Kosovo is committed to preventing violence in schools and among primary responsibility for the implementation of educational policies on prevention and response to violence in schools, organizes training for school staff on the implementation of the package of materials prevention and referral of violence in schools.

 

The training is conducted in coordination with the Center for Education and UNICEF Kosovo and aims to increase the efficiency of schools in implementing the Protocol 21/2013 on prevention and referral of violence in OI Module implementation of EMIS in the incident and the use of didactic manuals during the regular teaching process, through cross-cutting approach and other relevant alternatives.

  The expected results are:

• understand the importance of the implementation of legal infrastructure that sanctions violence (within its Protocol 21/2013)

• promote the use of teaching materials that address the topic of violence and protection of children in other circumstances.

• the increased capacity of teachers to the possibility of preventing violence through various curricular areas;

• strengthen reporting and referral system through EMIS

 

Training held on 25-26 March 2017, at the Center for Education of Kosovo, Pristina. This training program continues in the coming months with school staff, MED and NGOs.
