Global Campus of Human Rights – a growing network of more than 100 universities promoting human rights education – has shared first of its kind MOOC addressing the question how new technologies affect children`s rights and lives.
Open from 01/03 until 04/04/2021, the course is designed for everyone interested and engaged in children`s rights (from children to governments) offering range of activities such as readings, videos, webinars, discussions, case studies and quizzes for a total of 30 hours.
In 5 weeks, participants will gain access to information and testimonies about issues related to technology and children`s rights in different context around the world.
The 5 modules education package starts with an overview of children`s rights and new technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and biometrics, and later on connecting those with the rights to privacy and data protection, child development and play, right to education, and the right to safety.
Participants who successfully completed 4 weeks of discussions and took all quizzes will be offered a certificate, free of charge.
