Mask, gloves, distance, computer, phone screen, uncertainty, learning and socializing online, fear of losing your job, problems looking for a job - these are just some of the aspects of young people's lives that changed in March 2020, when the world stopped because of coronary virus pandemics.

Accustomed to communicating over the Internet, young people easily adapted to online teaching, work from home and the new normality.

However, the pandemic also brought a loss of motivation to learn and greater fears for the future, which are the results of research conducted by the British Council in six countries of the Western Balkans during January 2021.

They were among the first to lose their jobs, and due to the expected economic decline, more and more of them are worried about their existence.

The study involved respondents aged 16 to 29, living in Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Northern Macedonia, Albania and Kosovo.
