University of Bedfordshire team worked with young people from eight different youth projects across England to produce a series of films about what needs to be done to address the issues of gang-associated sexual violence and exploitation.
The young people took charge of these films - first with workshops to explore the issues and then scripting and scheduling each film.
1. 'I Define Me': A film by young women from Manchester Active Voices shot over five days in 2012, sharing their views and experiences of growing up in gang-affected areas.
2. 'Misunderstood': Ideas of young men on how their peers can be helped to leave gangs.
3. 'Just a Link?': a film by a group of young women from City United and St George's Hub - response to issues associated with young women, gangs, sex and relationships.
4. 'Love, Sex, Conflict': a film by a group of young people in London - response to issues associated with young women and men, gangs, sex and relationships.
