During the second mentoring cycle of the EU-funded MINT – Mentoring for integration of third country national children affected by migration, similarly to the first one, videos were created based on topics collaboratively identified by migrant children and local youth volunteers participating in the programme in the four project countries. The videos were produced with the help of project coordinators and professional local film makers who guided the children in the creation of the videos.
The video produced by the Organization for Aid to Refugees (OPU) in the Czech Republic shows how we can overcome barriers in our life. Mentors and mentees discussed what state, natural, personal, and social boundaries mean to them. Although the Covid-19 pandemic did not allow OPU to organize group activities for mentees and mentors in person, they still found ways to creatively spend time together in the online space.
The video is available in Czech with English subtitles.
