The Group of Experts on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings (GRETA) for this year's World Refugee Day (20th June) has published a new guide on the international protection of people, who are being trafficked. It aims to provide bases under international and European law for national governments on how to protect trafficked people from being sent back to a country, which isn't safe for them. It also emphasises the importance of preventing the deportation of people under the Dublin Regulation to a country where they could become victims of human trafficking again. The guide also articulates specific ways of how to apply the law and emphasises the importance to protect child victims of trafficking.
