The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees had released a weekly update relating to the arrivals of migrants in Italy for the week of June 25, 2017.

The infographic displays imperative figures pertaining to the number of estimated individuals arriving in Italy during the duration of that week while also analyzing the number of sea arrivals into the country as well as the departing countries of these migrants.

  • Total arrivals (1 Jan - 25 Jun 2016): 60,790
  • Total arrivals 1 Jun - 25 Jun 2017: 12,495
  • Total arrivals 1 Jun - 25 Jun 2016: 12,939
  • Average daily arrivals in June 2017: 417
  • Average daily arrivals in May 2017: 742
  • Dead and missing in 2017 (as of 25 Jun): 2,005
  • Dead and missing in 2016 (as of 25 Jun): 2,886
  • Dead and missing in 2016: 5,096
