"What is Social Work?" was the topic of the first monthly discussion meeting organized by the Know-How Center for the Alternative Care for Children. Unfortunately, for the moment the videos are only available in Bulgarian.

The topic of the first meeting, held within the framework of the new initiative for monthly debates and discussions of the Know-How Center for the Alternative Care for Children, NBU, was presented by Ch. Prof. Rumen Petrov, PhD, professor of social work at New Bulgarian University.

We offer you a link to the video content of the topic discussed on May 9, which questioned the philosophy and ethics of social pedagogy and social work. A very interesting look at social attitudes towards social groups - the subject of social work, the stigma towards the users of social services, the subject of "deviance", what is the critique of the social pedagogical paradigm and are there Bulgarian texts that protect an alternative position?
