Why are fathers reluctant to engage in child welfare services? (ChildHub Video)

Social workers have difficulties with involving fathers in child welfare services. According to them, fathers often do not attend services, do not actively participate in programs and appear reluctant to develop a bond with a practitioner. This short video and the accompanying paper give an overview of several major reasons why fathers might be reluctant or unable to participate in child-welfare services.
