On 12 November 2020, Terre des hommes Foundation Mission in Albania organized an online training on "Psychological Reactions of Victims of Trafficking in Persons and its Effect on Investigation and Prosecution of the Crime of Trafficking in Persons".

Twenty coordinators for entities with special status at the General Prosecutor's Office and district prosecutor's offices attended this training. They were trained to:

- understand how the process of trafficking in persons impacts the health of its victim;

- know how the impaired health situation of a victim may affect investigation and prosecution of the crime of trafficking in persons;

-  determine appropriate strategies to be adopted by criminal justice practitioners to enable a victim to assist the criminal justice process.

The Training was developed in the framework of the project, “Improving Provision of Services and Awareness to Combat Trafficking in Persons in the Balkans, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo”, funded by the U.S. Department of State through the J/TiP program.
