‘Institute for War and Peace Reporting’ reports that Roma children in Bosnia and Herzegovina are still having a difficult time accessing higher education. Many Roma children are not able to obtain higher education because of their economic situation. A number of scholarships are provided for Roma to attend university and the number potential students applying to such programmes is growing. Some believe that progress to improve the situation and opportunities for the Roma is occurring but it is generally agreed that more needs to be done.
