As part of the REVIS project, the students of "Pavle Savić" Elementary School celebrated November 16th as the International Day for Tolerance.

On that occasion, they drew and wrote messages in the school premises that symbolize the importance of accepting diversity, but also wrote a song on this topic, which some of them sang.

With their teachers, the children talked about different minority groups, that is, about different personal characteristics on the basis of which discrimination can be made against someone.

As key values that should be promoted, the children pointed out: Friendship, Respect, Honesty, Empathy, Solidarity and Understanding.

This school is one of ten participating in the implementation of the REVIS project, which is coordinated by the Center for Youth Integration in Serbia.

Co-funded by the Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme of the European Union (2014-2020)
