The 1989 Convention on the Right of the Child empowers children to seek redress from those 46 countries that have signed the protocol. Recently, many climate activists, included Greta Thunberg, argue that countries like Argentina, Brazil, France, Germany and Turkey threaten their human rights. With failing to cut the emission of greenhouse gases, the above-mentioned countries endanger children’s future, health and security.  Now, the Committee on the Rights of the Child is in a decision-making process on dismissing or moving the case ahead .
