According to information by the newspaper 168 óra, the Budapest Police Headquarters has already launched two investigations into the Pest County Child Protection Center and Territorial Child Protection Service (PM Tegyesz), because of procedures for the immediate and without pre-arranging withdrawal of the child from foster parents. The boy, raised by his foster parents since he was a couple of days old, was taken away last year August, for reasons that are still unclear. And in September, a little girl was taken away from her foster parents in less than an hour and a half, by cheating the foster parents.

As a result of these investigations, the head of the service has already resigned. The Budapest Police Headquarters’ Department for Combating Corruption and Economic Crime is an investigation in both cases.
