Time spent outdoors decreased by 70 percent from 1970 to the present. However, the lack of outdoor play facilities can lead to obesity and psychiatric disorders, as play for children is just as essential as eating or drinking.

When children happily play, the positive state of mind associated with it promote quality development of the brain.
