Human Rights Watch and the European Disability Forum issued a report about the support European Schools provide to disabled children. European Schools is a network of 13 intergovernmental schools mainly hosting the children of EU employees, controlled by the EU member states and the European Commission. Despite all member states ratified the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities guaranteeing a set of rights for disabled children in education, parents claim reality is not matching the theory, instead having the wishes of school staff as the key decisive factor.
