Sesame Workshop and LEGO Foundation releases new episodes on managing emotions during the pandemic. It will start with a 25-minute-long show in 13 different languages. The “kit” will provide learning activities for families and skills for children to deal with negative feelings.

Sherrie Westing, Global Impact and Philanthropy for Sesame Workshop explains how challenging this period is for children. They are stuck at home without their friends and teachers and their daily routine is changed too. Dealing with this new situation in a playful way can be one of the solutions. Digital activities and short videos on self-care, health and home learning are going to be available in the following months. John Goodwin, chief executive officer of LEGO Foundation emphasizes how important it is to motivate and inspire kids to learn even under these circumstances. He believes that together with Sesame Workshop, they can provide creative and engaging activities for children.
