The most active members from Moldova are also in the overall top 10 on Childhub - Octombrina Moraru, Child Protection Technical Officer at Terre des hommes Moldova, and Anatolii Oprea, University Assistant at Free International University of Moldova and Consultant at Terre des hommes Moldova. They tell us about their experience with ChildHub so far.
"I am accessing Childhub platform right from the start, over a simple curiosity, because the idea itself of sharing the expertise and the information, as well as developing a network of regional experts and specialist, was absolutely stunning for me .
Shortly Childhub became for me something more than a simple website, but a valuable resource of self and professional improvement and growth by participating at all sorts of webinars, workshops that were held online and offline, having the opportunity to find out latest news and practices in the field.
As a university lecturer, to keep up with the last updates and best practices in the field, previously I had to access tons of different sources/websites. Now there is Childhub, I appreciate it for its user friendly and pretty intuitive design. It is easy to use, which saves a lot of time and all the information is up-to-date. I think the platform became a resource that should be used by (but not limited) every specialist that is working in the field of child protection.
Through Childhub I had also the great opportunity to meet a lot of colleagues from other countries, an opportunity that strengthened the international professional cooperation between us and offered a chance of sharing knowledge and practices or also ask for an opinion and support.
I recommend Childhub to everybody, not just as a website where they can read about latest news, but as well as a platform where they can promote themselves as professionals by becoming a resource person", told Anatolii Oprea.
While Octombrina Moraru mentioned: "Mainly, Childhub represents for me a source of inspiration. Here I can find and learn from experiences and good practices of child protection specialists and experts from other countries, such as the games for children that were developed, child-friendly materials, legal framework etc. Also, the posibility to participate in webinars is very useful, where members have the opportunity to discuss various topics live online. The concept of gamification of the platform makes it more attractive and determined me to access it daily for tracking news and other publications.
I think everyone can find something useful for themselves on this platform, and if you are very active you have a chance to win a small prize, good luck to everyone."
Enjoy everybody learning and connecting on ChildHub!
