Parliament urged to end UK's recruitment of 'child soldiers'

‘Ekklesia’ reports that UK NGOs, including UNICEF and Amnesty are calling on the British government to stop the outdated practice of recruiting 16-17-year-olds for military service. There are fewer than 20 countries in the world that still recruit minors – and last year alone they recruited 5,000 children.
