Putting children’s rights at the centre of our community plan

This blog is the first of a series UNICEF UK is publishing this week to mark the anniversaries of the Convention on the Rights of the Child and of their Child Rights Partners programme. In Northern Ireland, UNICEF is working with Derry & Strabane Council to make sure children and young people’s rights are embedded in their new Community Plan. In this guest blog Helen Harley, the council’s Children and Young People’s Officer, explains what this means and how it will bring about change for the children of Derry & Strabane.
