Refugee children are five times more likely to be out of school than others – UN report

The United Nations News Centre reports on a policy paper that shows that at least 50% of refugee children are not attending primary school. The policy paper, released by two UN agencies, further indicate that 75 of refugee adolescents are not attending secondary school. The paper calls on humanitarian and developmental partners to ensure that refugee children attend national educational plans.
