Terre des hommes Foundation in Romania has recently created, within the BRIDGE project, a series of informative and motivational materials on the theme of gender-based violence, especially as it affects migrant children. The materials are richly illustrated, dedicated to children and designed for them to use to understand and prevent difficult situations.

Terre des hommes has created the following publications for children:

These publications will soon be available in Arabic as well. Through the BRIDGE project, Terre des hommes Foundation and its partners are helping specialists and children to approach, prevent and solve situations of gender-based violence.

Useful materials for Romanian specialists

Within BRIDGE, Terre des Hommes Romania also aims at improving the capacity of public and NGO professionals to identify, manage and prevent specific forms of gender-based violence that can affect children and young migrants. For Romanian professionals in the social field, two infographics have been published. They present the results of research on migrant children's perception of gender-based violence, and on the way professionals in Romania are approaching gender-based violence affecting children:

A series of podcast episodes were also created (in Romanian) with the honorary participation of five experts in gender-based violence. The episodes of the podcast are meant to help professionals in the social field and were published on soundcloud and anchor, and can be listened to for free.

The BRIDGE project supported by the European Union's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Programme (2014-2020).

The content of this publication represents the views of the author only and is his/her sole responsibility. The European Commission does not accept any responsibility for use that may be made of the information it contains.
