From October 4th to October 6th 2017, three-day pilot training program for professionals in the field of child protection was held in Belgrade. This training was organized and implemented by the Center for Youth Integration, within the framework of the project "Regional Resource Center for the Protection of Children of Southeastern Europe Childhub".

The theme of this training is "Capacity building and improvement of the skills of professionals in work and communication with a particularly vulnerable group of children – street involved children”, which is a direct response to the need arising from research aimed at mapping the workforce of the social system which was carried out within the framework of the Childhub Project in 2015, by Prof. Dr. Nevenka Žegarac.

The training was attended by representatives of social work centers from the territory of the city of Belgrade, representatives of non-governmental organizations providing services for street involved children, as well as representatives of the State shelter for children.

After the pilot training and the received comments and suggestions from the participants, the training program will be reviewed by the authors and then submitted for accreditation. Also, within this activity, a manual will be developed that will be distributed to relevant institutions and organizations, and a webinar will be held on the CH platform.
