Due to measures taken to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus, about 1.5 billion children worldwide are no longer attending school. During self-isolation, children are forced to carry out most  activities at home, including education and socialization which have moved online.

Many children are joining the online world for the first time, and parents and children alike will spend much more time online, which brings new risks. For many parents, the question of how to keep their children safe online is more important now than ever before.

Children can very easily become the target of sexual predators and abusers lurking on the Internet, so we recommend that parents and guardians take the necessary steps to keep them safe during this time.
