‘The UN Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights’ reports that six UN agencies have expressed their views on the planned EU strategy against trafficking. They pointed out the importance of providing free and quality legal assistance to victims, non-prosecution of victims and the right to remain in the country. They also call on a gender-sensitive approach to trafficking and to focus on the most vulnerable, i.e. child victims.
