Slow EU aid puts Syrian children's lives on hold in Turkey

26 Aug 2016

According to a news report from Reuters, the delayed reaction of the EU to provide humanitarian support and asylum assistance is putting the lives of thousands of Syrian children in limbo. The 3 billion Euros of aid promised by the EU to Turkey is wrapped up in red tape, failing to reach the vulnerable children escaping Syria’s war. Many have disabilities and are feeling the effects of trauma, and need to return to normal life and school.
