Express reports that most of the missing 8,991 children are aged between 14 and 17, although 867 are aged under 13. The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) warned unaccompanied minors from conflict zones are "by far the most vulnerable group among the refugees," vulnerable to grooming by criminal gangs and sexual exploitation.
