The purpose of the project is to support and promote the rights of children and young people living in alternative care. The stated purpose will be achieved by using two key objectives:
1. Construction of the capacity of professionals working in alternative care for the adoption of approach to children's rights in their everyday practice
2. Cooperation with national and European stakeholders and raising awareness of the need to maintain training on children's rights for professionals working in in alternative care.
SOS Children's Village Croatia as one of the project partners will be training 120 professionals working with children and youth in the area of alternative care in the Republic of Croatia, and by the end of 2016, together with other partners, participate in the creation of the European manual for the training of professionals.
