Supreme Court overturns non-EU young spouses ban

BBC’ reports that the British Supreme Court ruled that a recently adopted ban on non-EU foreign spouses under the age of 21 coming to the UK was unlawful. The law was introduced in an effort to curb forced marriages. According to the decision of the Court the law interfered with the human rights of couples and was against Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
