Following a murder of a young boy in Sarajevo by others teenagers, public concerns are towards now the hardening of the juvenile justice system. ‘Balkan Insight’ describes that the main problem is the lack of legal and institutional tools to control juvenile delinquents. There is only one prison for minors, the young detainees are separated from the adults only during the night. So the judges are reluctant to put adolescents in prison.
