‘Irish Health’ reports on negative consequences of long hours spent watching TV for toddlers. According to Canadian researchers, the more TV children watch at the age of 29 months, the more likely they are to be bullied when they are 11 or 12. Children watching too much of TV may have less developed social skills, therefore, they can be easier victimized by other children. Watching less TV could have a positive effect on children's development since then they have more time for personal interactions. They are of vital importance gaining such skills as problem solving or establishment of friendly and positive relationships with self and others.
