The Star news had recently announced that an initiative will soon commence and will occur over the span of one year, with the mandate of prompting public concern of child sexual abuse and exploitation as well as to better cross-organizational collaborative works in combating against illicit acts involving and directed toward children

The "It's not Okay" campaign coincides with the works of its partners in the Sheffield City Council, South Yorkshire Police, health and volunteer bodies, to ensure minors, young adults, and parental guardians are able to identify potential red flags that may indicate child sexual abuse, and to increase public knowledge on this subject throughout all ages and cities, in order to assist in revamping security measures for the generations to follow.
