The vast majority of British parents feel anxious about reopening schools, as the recent poll of the Observer reveals. School leaders are still struggling with finding the proper method of reopening.

Parents want to see certainty and agreement, but even they are not entirely sure what would be the best to do. Children of poor families do not want to see their kids back in school. And, this pandemy makes the gap between poor and wealthy families even greater.  This uncertainty amongst parents can have a big impact on childrens’ studies in a negative way.

There is also uncertainty about the validity of messages communicated via different channels. Schools are a vital part of life, and for this reason, they must be safe. One possible way of reopening would be reopening schools in phases, and carefully tracking the whole process.

Councils are now facing a race against time. Every helping hand is needed. Despite of the several redrafts in health offices, there is a lot of pressure on officials these days. Highly skilled experts, on the other hand, are placed to positions where they cannot help as effectively they could.
