The GloucestershireLive indicates that a donation consisting of half a million pounds to a local charity in Gloucestershire will empower some of the county's most unguarded families. The organization, CCP, was granted more than £498,000 to operate a three year family and parenting support task in the area. The project seeks to work with approximately 200 families, who lack parenting skills and confidence, while inducing mental distress upon their children, possessing weak familial relations, and an unorganized family structure.

The task entails the work of specialists whose works pertain to family assistance, which will coincide with assistance from families and volunteers. The article highlights that CCP is a reputable organization that is proficient in resolving such issues and stresses the importance of a cohesive family unit enjoyed among parents and children. Through this major project made possible by the Big Lottery Fund, the CCP will be recruiting volunteers to assist with its operations.
