Strategic Framework and National Action Plan: 2005 - 2007

This Strategic Framework and National Action Plan for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings 2005-7 has been drafted in the light of the experiences and lessons learnt by all national institutions responsible for implementing Albania’s National Anti-Trafficking Strategy 2001-4, and the Government’s last National Action Plan for 2003-4. The purpose of this latest Plan, like that of the National Action Plan 2003-4, is to consolidate progress made since the approval in 2000/1 of Albania’s National Anti-trafficking Strategy, whilst at the same time developing new legislative and institutional approaches to meet the changing nature of human trafficking, and a more systematic, credible and verifiable statistical approach to measuring output.
