The Bulgarian Handbook of the intervention program RISE Reinforce Inner Strength Effectively to combat bullying is part of the RISE project - Raising internal resources to tackle school bullying, funded by the European Union's Rights, Equality and Citizenship Program 2014-2020. The project aims to reduce harassment in boarding schools, colleges and homes in order to protect young people, students, unaccompanied minors and others. RISE is run by 6 partner organizations - the leading organization Civiform (Italy) with partners VTI Brugge Boarding School (Belgium), IFRTS (France), CJD Verbund NRW Süd / Rheinland (Germany), Animus Association Foundation Istituto Superiore Internazionale Salesiano di Ricerca Educativa (Italy).

The project involves 200 teenagers and 30 employees, lecturers and trainers in boarding houses and consists of peer education sessions and activities with the intention of educating young people in "emotional literacy, awareness and recognition of their own emotions and emotions, control of feedback impulses, strategies for voluntary behavioral control and behavioral and evaluating practices ". The material consists of two parts - the first one was developed by Prof. Stefano Canali from Sissa and the second one by the psychotherapist Kristina Nenova from the Bulgarian Animus Association.
