Coaching Manual

The manual "Changing the attitudes of Roma men about child marriage" was created as a product of a project implemented within the program "Towards the end of child marriage in Serbia 2018-2020." piloted by UNICEF and a number of partners, in Roma communities, at the local and national levels. This program was implemented in three cities in Serbia (Belgrade, Pirot and Novi Sad) with the aim of reaching long-term solutions, which will be a response to the factors that contribute to the survival of child marriages in Roma communities.

So far, as a product of the program, a national coalition for the prevention of child marriages has been formed. The systematized knowledge and understanding of the phenomenon of child marriages has been improved, the way of data collection has been improved and decisions based on the collected data have been made possible, and specific programs for working with the Roma community have been created.
