ECLIPS project (“Enhancing the Capacity to combat child abuse through an Integral training and Protocol for childcare professionals”) with four partners worked together to publish a protocol on trauma-sensitive care, especially for professionals working with children. Trauma Informed Care Protocol aims to improve the resilience of everyone involved in child-care: from the children to their families and the professionals. Through a few chapters, it develops awareness and different skills concerning detecting, referring, and treating trauma symptoms after child abuse and neglect in the 0-3-year age group. The protocol is also accompanied by posters that can be used as visual aids for everyday trauma-sensitive work. Screening and Referral Protocol was published as well under the umbrella of ECLIPS project. If you want to know more about it, please click here.

A translation in Dutch, Italian, Latvian, and Hungarian is also available upon request.
