Dear colleagues, we are sharing with you the UNICEF document “Ending institutionalization and strengthening family and community based care for children in Europe and beyond”. The document aims at highlighting the need for the process of de-institutionalization in Europe. The text also calls on the European Union to increase its commitment to assisting governments in their transition from institutional care to community based care between 2021 and 2027.
