The publication "Guidelines for the improvement of cross-sectoral cooperation in protecting children from abuse and neglect in the local governments' is part of a project which is being implemented in Serbia, in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development the Government of the Republic of Serbia and UNICEF, with financial support from the European Union.

In order to gain a better insight into the existence and functionality of cross-sectoral cooperation in the protection of children from abuse and neglect, Network of Organizations for Children of Serbia - MODS, in partnership with UNICEF and in collaboration with research group SeConS Development Initiative, conducted a survey. The results of the survey were used to produce this guidelines for improving cross-sectoral cooperation in the protection of children from violence. Guidelines are described in this brochure.
