IOM Migration Research Series #11

The present paper (…) provides an assessment of our current state of knowledge about the trafficking of women and children in Europe. Whilst interest in trafficking in human beings generally has never been greater, our knowledge base remains weak. In her report, Professor Kelly reviews and assesses current research on the trafficking of women and children for sexual exploitation in Europe and identifies a number of priorities to advance our current knowledge base.
