We are sharing this report, prepared by the Know-How Center for the Alternative Care for Children, NBU at the invitation of "Hope and Homes for Children - Bulgaria" (HHC). The evaluation presented in the document was prepared by the research team of KHC (Borislava Mecheva, Valentina Bizheva, Galina Markova, Evgenia Toneva, Lyubomir Dzhalev, Kristina Slavova and Yana Katsarova) for the period 2014-2016 and was made in the context of deinstitutionalization in Bulgaria. The report shows that the HHC Model is functioning well but also proves that due to the conditions in the country, the work of the HHC-Bulgaria is limited due to a number of factors. The report is currently available only in Bulgarian.
